Portland, Ore. – Built in the shadow of Oregon’s Mt. Hood, Danner’s Fall 2015 Stumptown collection is rooted in the brand’s rich Pacific Northwest heritage. The new collection features an update to a classic in the Mountain Pass, the retro, sneaker-inspired Jag boot and a highly anticipated new women’s boot, the Danner Light Cascade. The new collection stays true to Danner’s roots as the Outdoor Original.

Made in Danner’s Portland, Ore. factory, the Mountain Pass is inspired by the brand’s signature hiker, the Mountain Light, which is widely considered one of the greatest backpacking boots of all time. An everyday urban hiker with a full-grain leather upper and waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® lining, the Mountain Pass is 25 percent lighter in weight than the original Mountain Light. Fall 2015 is the first season the Mountain Pass is available in women’s sizes.

Also new for Fall 2015 is a contemporary take on the original 1980s Jag boot. The new Jag is constructed with a suede and canvas upper and waterproof Danner® Dry lining. An EVA midsole and Ortholite® footbed provide extra cushioning for ultimate comfort.

Fall 2015 additionally debuts the Danner Light Cascade, a women’s-only boot that follows the success of the Mountain Light Cascade, featured in the 2014 Fox Searchlight film, Wild. The Danner Light Cascade is constructed with a water resistant, full-grain leather upper, 1000 Denier nylon side panels and Dri-Lex® lining, providing both function and fashion from city to summit.

Updated versions of two Danner classics are also included in the Fall 2015 collection. The Mountain Light and Danner Light, both built with leather uppers and featuring waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® lining, are now offered in Waterbuck Yellow and Black Glace. View the full collection at
