Purpose-driven apparel invites passionate adventurers to live life to the fullest
JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. (March 24, 2016) — Give’r, a Jackson Hole, Wyoming-based lifestyle apparel and accessory brand, launched it’s newest product, the 4-Season Gloves, on Kickstarter on March 7, 2016. In a record-breaking three hours post launch, the Give’r campaign hit $25,000 in funding, and therefore reaching 100% of their goal. In true Give’r style, they aren’t stopping here.
Give’r (verb): to give it your all, go for it.
Give’r prides itself on inspiring its community and its customers to find what excites them and then to give it your all. Bubba Albrecht (current president and sole remaining founder) decided in 2012 that what excites him is a lifestyle fueled by passion, purpose, challenge and adventure. So, with $1,200, a t-shirt and hat design, and a garage office in the middle of Wyoming, the Give’r team decided to design apparel that endures all of life’s challenges and enables a seamless transition between work, play and everything in between (full story behind origin of Give'r). Realizing the initial Kickstarter goal ensures that these gloves can go into production. Now is the time to take this endeavor from a bootstrapped, grassroots start-up to an established outdoor lifestyle brand.
In the past four years, Give’r has designed a unique product line ranging from ultra-comfortable t-shirts to hands-free neck coozies. The Classic Give’r Gloves were an early addition that once introduced, quickly began flying off the shelves. As the Classic Gloves gained a cult following, the Give’r crew began designs and development of the 4-Season Give’r Gloves. Eighteen months, five prototypes, extensive product testing and a refined production chain later, the best Give’r product to date has become a reality. Finally, the days of wearing out and purchasing new gloves every season are over.
The glove features an all-leather, 100% waterproof design that comes in sizes X-Small to XX-Large to fit both men and women. The construction, which includes a breathable, waterproof membrane, insulation and an all leather exterior, was built purposefully to withstand everything from grabbing a burning log from a campfire to ice-fishing in -25 degrees. It’s no mistake that these gloves are the toughest on the market, having grown from a state and people who are known for their resiliency. Wyoming is not an easy place to start a company, but Bubba and Daniel Nichols (Employee 1 and Maestro of Radness) are here to prove that with a supportive community, generous attitude, access to a multiple seasonal jobs and a dedication to Given’r your all, that anything is possible.
With 15 days left in the campaign, the brand is not backing off the fundraising. There is still plenty of opportunity to go for it. Join Give’r in putting the adventure back in the hands of passionate, purpose-driven and adventurous people by joining the movement to inspiring the Give’r in us all.
