It is rewarding to be able to give back to individuals with Autism to combat adversity” says Fred L. Miller, Co-Managing Partner of Darker Horse Creative.

According to research conducted by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, Autism has risen from 1 in 110 in 2008 and to 1 in 88 in 2012. Autism is the fastest-growing developmental disability, but the national response has been insufficient in addressing disparities in equal access to appropriate education, employment, independent living and diagnostic and treatment services.  The challenges of accessing care, support and education faced by families are often complex and lifelong, creating significant financial and other hardships.

Tickets for the 5th Annual Beauty Bash are $50 and available at the door and also, VIP $100 available online at

Autism is a complex neurodevelopment disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and affects a person’s ability to communicate and interact with others. Autism is defined by a certain set of behaviors and is a “spectrum disorder” that affects individuals differently and to varying degrees. There is no known single cause for autism, but increased awareness and funding can help families to alleviate the stress today.
