SUN VALLEY, Idaho – Feb. 26, 2015 – Olympic gold medalist Kaitlyn Farrington wants to give back to young girls and the sport of snowboarding. She will host a “Slumber Party” at Sun Valley Resort for up to 35 girls ages 18 and under March 13-15, 2015 that will include a pizza party, ice skating, photo sessions and a weekend of snowboarding with Kaitlyn and some of her close pro snowboarder friends.

“Snowboarding has given me so much, and it’s always been something I’ve done with my friends,” said Farrington. “I’m so excited to partner with Sun Valley and my sponsors to host this event and hopefully inspire other girls to pursue their passions and also have fun on the mountain. The Slumber Party is going to be a really fun way for girls to connect with some of my friends and take their snowboarding to new levels in a relaxed, welcoming environment.”
