Adriana Tells Of First Day Shooting For 2014 Calendar

¡Buenos Dias!

Today began our first official day of shooting and we were definitely off to an early start! I had the pleasure of being one of eight veterans chosen for a special group photo. This meant being in hair and makeup at 245am. Our “glam squad” worked their magic so we would be ready in time to catch the sunrise. Soon we were all squeezing into a golf cart and cruising our way down to the beach in our special  Redskins bikinis.

Our photographer, Richard, found a great oceanside spot along the rocky reef where we snapped some sunrise photos before moving to the beach to try some fun shots in the water. Walking, laughing, striking fierce poses–Richard captured it all and I can’t wait to see the end results. It was truly an awesome experience being able to pose alongside my Washington Redskins Cheerleaders sisters while the rest of our teammates were there to support us.

After a quick change we all headed to the theater for a second run through of our show. Practice makes perfect! But our day wasn’t done. We completed 6 more photo shoots and had a chance to mix and mingle with resort guests while posing for photos and signing autographs.

Time is already passing quickly, but there’s still much more work to be done and I’m looking forward to every minute.

¡Hasta Luego!
