Jessica Reece Fagan, an associate with the family law firm Hedgepeth, Heredia, Crumrine & Morrison ( and Ashley Akins, an associate with Hamilton, Westby, Antonowich & Anderson, will co-chair the State of Georgia’s Young Lawyers Division 2015 Signature Fundraiser, this year benefiting the Augusta Warrior Project. The event will be held February 28, 2015 at Terminal West (887 W. Marietta Street, Atlanta).

The Augusta Warrior Project provides assistance to former members of the military and their families in the Greater Augusta area of Georgia and South Carolina to improve their lives.

Now in its ninth year, the Signature Fundraiser is an evening celebration hosted by the State Bar of Georgia’s Young Lawyers Division that is well-attended by influential and up-and-coming leaders in the legal community. The event raises money and support for a non-profit organization chosen by the YLD Board of Directors.

Fagan is very active in community nonprofits and has chaired a number of events, including fundraisers for Georgia Organics, the Georgia Conservancy and The Wylde Center.

“The Stars and Stripes event will raise money for a great cause, but it’s also a great opportunity for younger members of the legal community to network and build relationships with colleagues from across the state,” said Jessica Fagan.

The 2015 event will feature live music from local party band Bogey & the Viceroy, a DJ, dancing, open bar, snacks and dessert bar, silent auction and more. For information on general admission and VIP tickets, and for sponsorship opportunities, contact or
