Newly Launched Glenwood Springs Website Makes a Splash

Making waves is nothing new for Glenwood Springs, the Colorado town known for its hot springs, spas, caverns, rafting, fishing and more. On behalf of the City of Glenwood Springs, September 10, the tourism promotion department of the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association launched an all-new version of Glenwood Springs’ tourism website,

Months in the making, the new website is part of a comprehensive marketing strategy that focuses on the town’s primary asset, water. In May, the town revealed its new logo, a stand-alone design that features a trademark “G” floating in waves of rippling water that is more compatible across a variety of social media platforms.

The water-themed immersion continues when visitors land on the newly launched The opening page greets guests, explains Glenwood’s celebrated connection to the element of water and invites visitors to explore further: things to do, where to stay and what to eat.

“The launch of the website is the culmination of months of work and it’s gratifying to finally see it all come together,” said Lisa Langer, vice president of tourism marketing for the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association. “The goal of the marketing and branding campaign is to position Glenwood Springs as a destination that offers visitors a truly unmatched vacation experience.”

The new website makes it easier than ever to learn about Glenwood’s attractions and activities, as well as to book lodging reservations. “We went with a platform that organizes Glenwood’s amenities visually, so when visitors land on the page they can quickly access information about what interests them and ultimately plan a great vacation,” said Cristin Oldenburg, tourism marketing manager for the tourism promotion department of the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association.
