Fun Musical Experiment in Delray Beach

People of all ages and walks of life took part in a one of a kind musical experiment in Delray Beach and the video of that experiment was just launched.

The Boston-based not-for-profit organization The Hands Movement hosted an event in which anyone was able to take part in an experiment set to prove that absolutely every man, woman or child can learn to play the piano well enough to contribute to the recording of a cover for "The Thrill is Gone" by B.B. King in just a couple of minutes.

The event took place in Delray Beach on Friday, May 13th 2016, at Worthing Park - East Atlantic Ave, in front of Salt7 and Park Tavern.

The Hands Movement invited everyone interested in music education and its benefits for emotional and cognitive development, and also every single person that has a love for music but lacked the means to follow their passion, no matter their age, skill level or background, to join in.

The Hands:Delray Beach event was made possible by the contribution of the Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation, with the support of Musicians' Playground - Boston's Premier Piano Studio.

The Hands Movement is a young organization believing that music should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone, and striving to make this possible. Alyssa O'Toole, its Founder and Director believes that "there is no such thing as a musician or non-musician, too late or too early, or any amount of inadequacy or inexperience that can stop us from feeling the happiness of making music as human beings."
