Park Ridge Houlihan’s cookie campaign will benefit Park Ridge Community Fund

Chicagoland Houlihan's are giving you a reason to order dessert 

CHICAGO (Aug. 1, 2016) – Beginning Aug. 1, Houlihan’s Restaurant in Park Ridge will donate 100 percent of the net sales from its signature lunch cookies to the Park Ridge Community Fund (PRCF). After an extremely successful eight weeks of testing in six Chicago-area Houlihan’s, the brand is expanding the promotion, Cookies for a Cause, to locations throughout the nation. Restaurants will sell the signature, homemade cookies at lunch for 50 cents. 100 percent of the net proceeds will be donated to a local charity.

The Park Ridge Community Fund has been raising and allocating funds to support local community causes since 1958. With one convenient donation to PRCF, donors can help nearly two dozen service organizations and care providers make life better, neighbor to neighbor.

Restaurants in Algonquin, Geneva, Naperville, Orland Park and Wheaton will continue to benefit Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

Cookies for a Cause is the latest campaign from Houlihan’s to support community causes and outreach. Currently, many Houlihan’s locations nationwide serve as drop-off stations for wine bottle and sparkling wine corks through a partnership with ReCORK, a company dedicated to recycling and sustainable living. Individually, the Park Ridge Houlihan’s partners with the Crayon Initiative, a company who recycles used crayons to donate back into local schools, hospitals, and art programs.
