BC3 hosts Transfer Information Session on April 28

(Butler, PA) Butler County Community College (BC3) will host a Transfer Information Session on Thursday, April 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Student Success Center on main campus. The session will be held in the Academic Center for Enrichment (ACE) located on the first floor.

This session will provide current and prospective students with information about transferring credits from BC3 to another college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree in various programs. Students have the option to transfer to another college or university location OR earn a bachelor’s degree while remaining on BC3 main campus through degree completion partnerships.

Representatives from the following Degree Completion Programs will be in attendance: B.S.B.A. in Accounting from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, B.S. in Organizational Leadership from Robert Morris University, a B.S. in Business Administration from Franklin University (Online), a B.A. in Psychology from La Roche College, a Bachelor in Social Work from Youngstown State, a B.A. in Administration of Justice from the University of Pittsburgh, an R.N. to B.S.N. in Nursing and a B.S. in Communications/Public Relations from Chatham University, and a B.S. Ed. in Early Childhood Education (Pre K-4) and Special Education (Pre K-8) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) plans to become a degree completion partner and offer a Doctorate of Pharmacy to students soon. Currently, students can transfer to that location.

Students who complete an associate degree in one of twelve qualifying programs can transfer to any Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) institution with junior standing. Information on a general articulation with Penn State University’s Commonwealth Campuses will also be available.
