GOLDEN VALLEY, MINN. – Calvary Hourly Childcare, located at 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, Minn., is now accepting registrations for the 2015-2016 school year. The center offers flexible, part-time childcare for children ages 16 months to 5 years from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
The public is invited to an open house on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m. The center will re-open for the school year on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Calvary Hourly Childcare offers both flexible “drop-in” services and permanent reservations for registered families; registration and fee information is available at calvary.org/hourly or by calling 763.545.9042.
The center features two classrooms: one geared for toddlers (16 months-32 months), the other for preschoolers.
“Unlike many other ‘drop-in’ services, Calvary Hourly Childcare utilizes a curriculum to guide our daily schedule and to add value to each family’s experience with us,” says Debby Bromander, the center’s director. “Our teachers are committed to making the most of their time with each child, whether together for one hour, a few hours or multiple days a week.”
Calvary Hourly Childcare celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2014 and is one of three early childhood centers (Calvary Hourly Childcare, Calvary Pre-Kindergarten and Calvary Childcare Center) affiliated with Calvary Lutheran Church. Established in 1946, Calvary offers six weekly worship services and a wide variety of programs for children, youth and adults, all under its mission to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
