Discovery Speakers Series Bring Quality Programs to Fremont County, WY.

Fremont County, WY - Beginning this April, The Fremont County Museums will offer a "Discovery Speakers Series" to visitors and residents of Fremont County explaining and illustrating local history and figures, western lifestyle, archaeology and current topics.  The "Discovery Speakers Series" is presented by each museum and will host specialists in their respective fields to share their research, discoveries and expertise. These museums include the Dubois Museum, Wind River Historical Center in Riverton, Fremont County Pioneer Museum in Lander, and the Riverton Museum.

The Fremont County Museums have partnered with the Wyoming Community Bank to bring these exciting 2015 programs to the public.

Scott Goetz, Fremont County Museums Central Director said, "We are extremely excited to have Wyoming Community Bank as a partner. Their partnership will help us build a quality program that will have a positive impact on all Fremont County Museums and our visitors. This will help establish our museums as important cultural heritage attractions."

Kendall Heyford, WCB Branch Manager in Lander said, "Wyoming Community Bank is proud to Sponsor the Discovery Speakers Series with the Fremont County Museums. This series will provide an excellent educational resource in the communities of which we serve, and we commend the Fremont County Museums on striving to meet their mission to educate and preserve our dynamic history."
