Come #ParkandBark at Historic Fourth Ward Park for National Dog Day

Autotrader is celebrating the bond between humans, dogs, and cars and hosting a National Dog Day event in its headquarter city of Atlanta on Aug. 26 from 5-8 pm.

We'll be displaying some of the latest dog-friendly vehicles, with Brian Moody, executive editor at Autotrader, who will be on site to provide expert insights on car selection, safety on the road, and more.

In addition to free dog treats from Taj Mahound and prizes, we'll have dog experts to share tips on keeping your pup healthy and happy. Shari Wenger of Noodle and the Pea will be providing a dog massage demo. Gina Fisher of Frogs to Dogs will discuss safe socialization, or understanding dog behavior in order to keep your pup secure in social situations with other dogs and humans. Josh Donahue of Argos DogWorks is going to be talking about leash reactivity and how to keep dogs under control while walking, and we'll have professional dog trainer and safety expert Jennifer Pendleton Stewart provide a Heimlich maneuver/CPR demo.

Don't have a pup to call your your own? Looking to grow your fur-baby family? Bosley's Place, a rescue orphanage for underage puppies, will have an adoption station where you might meet your perfect K-9 companion.

Don't miss out on what's bound to be a doggone good time!
