PitchEngine Revs Up Community News Model with Investment; Hiring Wyoming Talent with Rapid Expansion

Wyoming-based, PitchEngine, is embarking on the most aggressive expansion in the company’s brief five year history, planning to nearly triple in size in the coming months.

Today, PitchEngine announced the closing of a significant round of investment from Austin-based investor, Petros Partners and Enhanced Capital, with offices in Jackson, Wyoming.

“We’re fortunate to have found institutional investment partners who share our vision for doing big things and fundamentally changing the way communities everywhere connect,” said PitchEngine Founder and CEO, Jason Kintzler. “The best part is, they support our desire to build this from here in Wyoming,” he added.

PitchEngine Communities, the tech company’s newest initiative, is a community news model that’s already proven wildly successful in cities and towns throughout Wyoming.

The first Community News Stream, County 10™, which connects Fremont County -- including the cities of Riverton and Lander -- reaches more than 17,000 people every day. The entire County’s population is about 40,000 people.

Collectively, PitchEngine Communities now represent the largest audience in Wyoming with 2.5 Million pageviews per month making its reach greater than that of the state’s largest newspaper, the Casper Star Tribune owned by Iowa’s Lee Enterprises.

PitchEngine plans to add locations and full-time, salaried employees in Cheyenne, Gillette, Cody and Jackson in addition to current offices in Lander/Riverton and Casper in the next few weeks.

“It’s gratifying to be able to bring some of Wyoming’s most inspiring talent on-board in a few of these locations already,” explained Fabian Lobera, PitchEngine’s COO.

PitchEngine Communities will run alongside the company’s other successful PR and marketing software products which are used by more than 50,000 brands worldwide.

“As private investment firms who are focused on small businesses in Wyoming, we are excited about the innovative methods PitchEngine has implemented to deliver local news content,” said Mansoor Ghori from Petros Partners and Gingee Prince from Enhanced Capital.  “We believe the company’s unique news platform will be adopted quickly in all counties within the state.”
