It's fight time for UFC 174: Demetrious Johnson vs Ali Bagautinov on Saturday June 14, 2014 10:00PM EDT and to be held live in Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC, Canad and thru pay per view (ppv) as dominant champion Johnson has been on a tear since obtaining the belt by defeating Joseph Benavidez at UFC 152 in October 2012. "Mighty Mouse" has won five straight mixed martial arts (MMA) bouts, his most recent being a shocking "Knockout of the Night"-winning performance against Benavidez in their rematch at UFC on FOX 9 in December 2013. On Saturday, the 125-pound champion will look to record a fourth consecutive UFC title defense in the UFC 174 main attraction. Standing opposite Mighty Mouse will be up-and-coming Russian flyweight Ali Bagautinov. In his first three UFC appearances, Bagautinov has posted a 3-0 record. He might be the best wrestler Johnson will have faced at 125 pounds, but Bagautinov will be taking a noticeable step up in competition this weekend. In the main event, Demetrious Johnson defends his UFC flyweight title against challenger Ali Bagautinov. Johnson was the first UFC flyweight champion and has successfully defended his title three times. Bagautinov, a Russian fighter nicknamed the Puncher King, comes into the bout on a 11 fight winning streak. In the co-main event, 16-2 24-year-old British Columbia native Rory MacDonald takes on 13-2 Missouri bred contender Tyron Woodley in an important welterweight contest. The only man he has left to beat is the surging No. 4-ranked Bagautinov, who earned his shot at "Mighty Mouse" with a decision win over dangerous striker John Lineker at UFC 169 in February. Since making his way to the UFC in September 2013, "Puncher" has reeled off three straight victories to extend his overall win streak to 11.
