Michael J. Ferry named president and chief operating officer

New leadership structure poised to elevate core business, strategic growth initiatives

Westerville, OH, September 9, 2014 -- Halley Consulting Group, a firm specializing in the strategic development and performance turnaround of hospital-owned medical practice networks and independent physician offices, has announced that Michael J. Ferry has been named president and chief operating officer. Marc D. Halley serves as its chief executive officer.

"The new leadership structure is a strategic step for Halley Consulting Group enabling a strong focus on our core business while supporting future growth and development efforts," said Marc Halley, chief executive officer.

Previously the chief operating officer for Halley Consulting Group, Ferry's expanded role will allow him to concentrate on growing the firm's core business of providing interim practice management and consulting services for hospital-owned and independent physician practices.

As the chief executive officer, Halley will transition from oversight of operations to a strategic focus on continuing to grow the firm and expanding service offerings, such as clinical integration and business innovation strategies for clients.

"Mike is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced executive who has provided integral leadership to Halley Consulting Group's operations for the past several years as our chief operating officer. As president and COO, Mike's leadership will propel our business and the value we bring to our clients," Halley said.

"I am eager to continue leveraging the experience of Halley Consulting Group's team of senior-level consultants as we work to help our clients achieve the goals for their medical practices and also as we grow to meet their needs in an ever-changing healthcare environment," Ferry said.
