The Glenwood Springs Chamber and The Hotel Colorado present the 2014 Biz-Opoly Business Trade Fair on Friday, October 24
Event kicks off with a complimentary luncheon presented by the Travelers Institute followed by break-out sessions, a business expo, networking, food, beverages and the opportunity to win hot tub from Superior Pool & Spa!
The Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association and The Hotel Colorado present the 2014
Biz-Opoly Business Trade Fair on Friday, October 24 at The Hotel Colorado. One lucky attendee will win a hot tub from Superior Pool & Spa! The event is free and open to the public.
The business expo takes place from 4 – 7 p.m. Enjoy networking, complimentary food and beverages and the chance to win great prizes!
The Travelers Institute, the public policy division of The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV), will kick off Biz-Opoly with its Consumer Insurance Education luncheon. In partnership with Glenwood Insurance and the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association, the educational event will help individuals prepare for what worries them the most.
“Insurance education is a critical issue for anyone who owns a home,, car or business,” said Joan Woodward, President of the Travelers Institute and Executive Vice President of Public Policy at Travelers. “This knowledge can help to protect against unforeseen events, and we hope to empower consumers in Glenwood Springs so they can make the right decision when it comes to their individual insurance needs.”
Registration and networking begins at 11:45 a.m. and the luncheon and panel discussion is from 12:15 - 1:30 p.m. The luncheon will be followed by break-out sessions from 2-4 p.m. sponsored by Bank of Colorado.
Edward Cadena, District Director, and Frances Padilla, Deputy District Director of the SBA, will discuss the programs SBA has to help you with working capital, lines of credit, international trade assistance, equipment and long term financing for your business.
Learn how you can join the many businesses and homes that have reduced their energy waste and lowered energy bills. Shelley Kaup from CLEER will present about the Garfield Clean Energy Challenge and rebates to help you save energy and make your home or business more comfortable. Learn how you can claim your 2014 rebate.
Trent Blizzard, BlizzardPress, will lead a high-energy and interactive session with conference attendees sharing their insight, experiences, and leading practice ideas, particularly in four key categories: Positioning Your Marketing Efforts; Generating Awareness & Exposure; Building a Marketing Function and Winning New Business. Participants will leave the session with at least 60 ideas to take back to their business.
Learn how to converge print and digital messaging to maximize profits from a panel of media gurus including: Blizzard Internet Marketing, Versatile Productions, Glenwood Post Independent, KMTS Radio and KREX-TV. This will be facilitated by Dylan Lewis, Lewis Marketing, LLC.
Afterwards, join everyone for drinks and appetizers while you check out the trade show and October Business After Hours Mixer from 4-7 p.m.
