PEARD REAL ESTATE HILLARYS RECOGNISED AS MOST SUCCESSFUL REAL ESTATE OFFICE IN WA

Peard Real Estate Hillarys has been recognised by the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA) as the most successful real estate office in the State for the fourth year in a row.

At the annual REIWA High Achievers Gala Ball last Saturday night, Peard Real Estate Hillarys won the prestigious Awards for Top Office for Listings Sold and Top Office for Value Sold covering the twelve month period July 2013 to June 2014.

During the last financial year, Peard Real Estate Hillarys sold 633 properties with a collective the value of $446.85 million.

According to Byron Wallace, Licensee/Director of Peard Real Estate Hillarys, everyone at the office was delighted to be recognized as the top real estate office four years in a row.

“Hundreds of real estate offices throughout Western Australia aspire to become the top REIWA sales office in the State and to achieve this outcome four years in a row is an outstanding achievement for Peard Real Estate Hillarys.

“Last financial year, Peard Real Estate Hillarys sold on average nearly two properties every day of the week thanks to the dedication and professionalism of our great sales and back up team.

“Being the number one selling office in the whole of Western Australia for the fourth year in a row underlines the high level of service we provide to our clients on consistent basis – a quality of service which has underpinned the success of our office since it began operations back in 1997.

“Many of our clients have used our services several times and have recommended us to other property owners in the community and I would like to thank them for their continued support which has enabled our office to win this prestigious award yet again,” he said.

Maree Overton, Managing Director of the Peard Real Estate Group, added that the last financial year was the most successful in the history of the company.

“The huge success of Peard Real Estate Hillarys was also mirrored by our other Peard Real Estate offices which helped our group achieve a record $1.6 billion worth of property sold last financial year (2013/2014).

“The turnover of the group jumped by over $230 million or 17% during the last financial year with strong sales being recorded all of our eleven offices. This hard work of all our offices was recognised at the REIWA Awards last Saturday night with many of our sales representatives from the different Peard Real Estate offices winning individual awards.

“Peard Real Estate is based on quality not quantity and our ‘One Stop Shop’ model has resulted in our company quickly establishing itself as the leaders in the Western Australian real estate industry with a selective number of real estate offices located in strategic locations.

“In contrast, smaller agencies will continue to disappear and being replaced by larger more efficient companies that have economies of scale such as Peard Real Estate – a similar trend that has occurred in the retail sector with many small hardware stores, for example, being replaced by super hardware chains such as Bunnings.

“Peard Real Estate is planning to take advantage of market conditions to expand in the Perth metropolitan area during 2014/2015 as many smaller agencies struggle to respond to changing economic circumstances,” she said.
