It could also be used to display any type of information that might facilitate better driving. The advantage of the head-up display for the driver is that it allows the driver to maintain attention on the traffic ahead while reading important operational parameters in the same line of sight. There is no need to look down at the dashboard or elsewhere, hence no focal adjustment of the eyes is required.
