On Wednesday, April 15, PC Construction will present a total of $15,000 in charitable donations to three nonprofits based in southern Maine: Maine Maritime Museum Discovery Boatbuilding Program (Bath), Hospice of Southern Maine (Scarborough), and Tedford Housing (Brunswick).
The three nonprofits received the most votes of more than 5,200 cast by the public during March. They will receive the donations from PC Construction at an open house for middle school students from Woolwich in the Maine Maritime Museum’s boat shop.
PC Construction launched its “Building Communities: PC Construction Gives Back” nonprofit donation contest as a way to give thanks to the communities in which they live and work. The Portland construction company has helped southern Maine grow through numerous projects, including the Portland Museum of Art, the Canal Plaza towers, Bath Iron Works and South Portland High School.
