J. Gilbert’s celebrates Easter Sunday with $42, 3-course prix-fixe menu and extended hours

Regular dinner and surf-and-turf prix-fixe menus available from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on March 27


OVERLAND PARK, Ks. (March 22, 2016) – J. Gilbert’s Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood will celebrate Easter Sunday on March 27 by serving an exclusive three-course prix-fixe menu. Diners are invited to choose between 16 starters, entrees and desserts, including J. Gilbert’s well-known steaks, for $42 per person.

Additionally, J. Gilbert’s will open early at 11 a.m., serving its Easter prix fixe and regular menus until 8 p.m. The Easter prix-fixe menu is as follows:


Easter Prix-Fixe Menu


First Course
Diners choose one of the following:


Baby Greens – sundried cherries, pine nuts, parmigiana reggiano, balsamic vinaigrette


Caesar Salad – parmigiana reggiano, garlic croutons, asiago cheese crisp, anchovies


Wedge Salad – smoked bacon, maytag crumbles, tomatoes, red onion, buttermilk blue dressing


Maryland Crab Bisque 


Second Course
Diners choose one of the following:


6 oz. Center Cut Filet – Yukon mashed potatoes, green beans with pecans, rosemary demi


14 oz. Bone-In Pork Chop – parmesan-herb roasted potatoes, green beans with pecans


Seared Sea Scallops – lobster risotto, champagne buerre blanc


New Zealand Lamb Rack – wild mushroom risotto, sautéed spinach, rosemary demi


Jumbo Lump Crab Cake – Yukon mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus


Maple Roasted Salmon – bourbon glaze, Yukon mashed potatoes, green beans with pecans


Petite Filet with Seared Sea Scallops or Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes – Yukon mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus 


12 oz. Kansas City Strip – served with choice of two seasonal sides*

Third Course
Diners choose one of the following:
