Nancy Kerr say, “I’m humbled and it is an honor to be nominated for the Women in Business Award for a 2nd year in a row and have a first time nomination for the Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award. I’m still in the growing and marketing phase of my business, but it is so exciting to be recognized for the innovation of my product”
Kerr has also been nominated for the Orange County Business Journal’s 2014 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award program on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. This award program is designed to recognize men and women who exemplify the American entrepreneurial spirit – individuals who, by their creativity and determination, have established and nurtured successful business ventures. The cup platehas wowed the hearts of many users who formerly suffered all the troubles of using the traditional plates.
Users have also noticed the party plates bring highly appreciated experience in party time customary procedures. Chef Dustin DesJardins of DCS Taste of Paso had a comment following this wonderful experience: “Impressed with these…have used lots of sugarcane products that were not this well made. I think your prices are a huge reason some of these event planners may switch over. Bamboo in the past has been spendy…and sugarcane was not well made.”
On the sustainable products, the company has the following comment: “Say goodbye to the impossible balancing act of holding your plate, your drink and trying to eat at the same time! Plate-A-Cup® by Eco-Eats® patented functional design allows party-goers to hold their beverage and plate in one hand — freeing the other hand to eat, plate up food, shake hands, or pocket a business card. Also, no more losing track of your beverage among the sea of abandoned drinks. Plate-A-Cup ® frees you from having to stand watch over your drink while you eat, so you could now flow through a party or business function to mingle and network.”
Launched in August 2012, Eco-Eats Partyware created their revolutionary main product Plate-A-Cup to solve a few key problems many people experience at parties or food events. Their product has been used on a commercial scale at large food events as well as home parties made available to the everyday consumer through their website and Amazon.com, and eventually will make their way into retail stores. Eco-Eats Partyware believes the importance of having a healthy respect and awareness of the environment by making responsible choices on sustainable products we choose to use everyday. Their party plates, as well their other products are made of sugarcane or plant starch; making it a responsible alternative to plastic, styrofoam, and tree products.
