Actress WENDY BRAUN Added to All-Star Cast Of New Comedy Film ‘THE CLAPPER’

Also Appearing on TV Series ‘DOCUMENTARY NOW!’

LOS ANGELES (July 13, 2016) – Actress WENDY BRAUN joins the cast of writer-director Dito Montiel’s new indie comedy film, THE CLAPPER, led by Ed Helms and Tracy Morgan.

Based on Montiel’s book, the story follows professional infomercial clapper Eddie Krumble, who gets plucked by a late-night TV host to be on his talk show. The appearance ends up costing Krumble his job and a budding relationship.

Braun steps into the storyline, opposite Helms and Morgan, playing an established infomercial host. The cast also includes Amanda Seyfried, Russell Peters, Adam Levine and Leah Remini. The project comes from Oriah Entertainment, Pacific Electric and Schorr Pictures.

Braun is also set to appear in an all-new Season 2 episode of IFC’s hit, DOCUMENTARY NOW!, which parodies some of the world’s best-known documentaries. Braun emerges alongside stars Fred Armisen and Bill Hader in this clever send-up of non-fiction filmmaking.

Braun is also on-board in the upcoming Dr. Dre drama series, VITAL SIGNS. The top-secret project marks Apple’s first scripted television endeavor and is described as a semi-autobiographical series about the rap-turned-business mogul.

Audiences will recognize Braun from her recent guest-starring role as Danny DeVito’s accountant on the hit FX series, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. A Television Academy member, Braun has racked up over 70 film and TV credits, including guest-starring roles on hit shows like The Mentalist, Bones, Criminal Minds, Castle and Navy NCIS; and recurring roles on iCarly and General Hospital, which lead to a contract role in the spin-off, General Hospital: Night Shift. She continues to gain legions of fans for her first feature film appearance in the cult classic, The Big Lebowski, and more recently for her recurring role in Rainn Wilson’s wildly popular web series, The Flipside

Braun has more than 1000 voice-over credits, including the sexy, snarky undercover agent, Gianna Parasini in the hugely popular video game series, Mass Effect. Coming soon, fans will hear her when she guest stars alongside SNL alum Bobby Moynihan on an episode of Cartoon Network’s animated adult comedy series, We Bare Bears.

Wendy Braun is represented by The House Of Representatives and Judy O Productions.
