Coral Gables, FL– PC Construction has hired John Giachino as a director of business development to focus on the construction firm’s integrated delivery and Public-Private Partnership (P3) markets in the southeast with a focus on the Florida region.
John Giachino brings over 40 years of industry experience to his new role at PC Construction, including more than 35 years in municipal water and wastewater utility asset management, operations and maintenance, and capital program execution. While working for major global engineering, construction and operations companies, his contributions have been instrumental in the development and management of more than 20 water and wastewater utility projects utilizing P3 delivery in the United States and abroad.
Giachino continues to play an active role in several industry groups, serving as a Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Water/Wastewater Markets Committee chair, the Florida Region of the Design-Build Institute of America (FLDBIA) president and Water/Wastewater Committee chair, the Florida Water Resources Conference board of directors, and the Florida Water Resources Journal board of trustees. He is also a member of the Water Environment Federation’s House of Delegates Steering Committee and WEFTEC Advisory Committee.
