ASPEN SNOWMASS, Colo.—Oct. 21, 2014—Taking place at the Limelight Hotel Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m., come join in the 2014 Aspen Winternational Volunteer Rally to support the long standing tradition of ski racing in Aspen. Light food and drinks will be provided and as a thank you to all volunteers who contribute over 12 hours of service, a 2014 Winternational branded Helly Hansen jacket will be handed out. Support from the community is essential in the success of the races as Aspen Mountain once again hosts ski racing on the world stage.
At Aspen Snowmass, ski racing runs deep and the FIS Ski World Cup races have remained a central event throughout the years as the world’s best ski racers come from all corners of the globe to compete on the technical and steep faces of Aspen Mountain. After a year off, the 2014 Audi FIS Ski World Cup at the Nature Valley Aspen Winternational will host the fastest women ski racers once again Saturday, Nov. 29-Sunday, Nov. 30 in both the giant slalom and slalom events. Spectators are invited to the base of Lift 1A at Aspen Mountain to enjoy prime viewing.
