In Dubai: Ramadan Special Discount on Afghan Hand Woven Carpets at FBMI Showroom

FBMI, The Fatema Bint Mohamed Initiative observe new opening hours during Ramadan and offer a special discount on carpets.

FBMI offer a special Ramadan discount of 25% on all carpets lines and every customer will receive a free gift for every purchase made.

Consumers purchasing an FBMI hand woven carpet are making a conscious purchasing decision on a social and on an environmental levels.
On a social level:
FBMI is a humanitarian initiative that offers women employment in the weaving industry, while also providing them critical social services including training, healthcare and education.
FBMI impressive collections of hand woven carpets are traditionally crafted by women in Afghanistan, most of them are widows or live in refugee camps. Buying an FBMI carpet means that consumers are contributing to empowering these women, taking them out of poverty.
On an environmental level:
All components used for the production of carpets are natural: from the wool bought from Afghan farmers to natural vegetables dyes.

Go for ethical consumerism this Ramadan.

Ramadan opening hours  are 11am to 4pm and 8pm to 10:30pm from Saturday to Thursday. On Friday, the showroom is open from 8pm to10:30pm.

FBMI is Her Highness Sheikha Fatema Bint Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan humanitarian initiative in partnership with Tanweer Investments.

FBMI employs traditional crafting methods for their carpet production, operating strictly within Afghanistan. Wool from Afghan farmers, natural vegetables dyes and, of course, a local workforce (over 4,000 workers to date) are all pillars of the FBMI program.  

The organization currently has three showrooms: in Kabul, London and Dubai on Jumeirah Beach Rd open to professionals as well as local consumers.
