Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has co-authored the "Honoring the Fort Hood Heroes Act" (S. 1500). This bill would cut through all of Obama's red tape related to the 2009 Fort Hood terror attack and finally labels it as a terror attack, so the victims' families can receive combat benefits and medals for what they went through.
Maj. Nidal Hassan, a Muslim in the US Army, carried out the 2009 Fort Hood attack killing 13 people and wounding 32. He admitted in his trial that this was a Muslim jihad attack. Hassan corresponded via email with radical Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki for more than year preparing for the attack.
Yet, Obama's prosecutors called it "workplace violence." Read more about S. 1500 and how you can help in its passage, here.
The "Honoring the Fort Hood Heroes Act" (S. 1500) is about much more than awarding some medals and benefits to US military members who suffered through a vicious jihadist terror attack on US soil. It is about fighting back against Obama's creeping implementation of Sharia law in America.
Obama does not view the Fort Hood attack as terrorism. The Fort Hood incident was "justifiable" under Sharia law and in Obama's mind. That is why he labels it "workplace violence." He will call it anything but what it actually is: Muslim terrorism on US soil.
The Fort Hood victims' families have been put through hell by the Obama regime and their court case against the government was held up again last week.
Obama has done the exact same thing in other instances of terrorism in America. He has a well-established track record of slandering Christians and Tea Party members as terrorists, while labeling real terrorism as workplace violence.
This is Obama’s is attempt to psychologically condition Americans for Sharia law. Find out how you can help compel the Senate to pass S. 1500 and stop Obama’s attempt to incorporate Sharia Law in America here.
In many Muslim countries, for example, if a Muslim man rapes a Christian woman, it is referred to as an "Islamic cleansing” and is not a crime.
In America, there have been clear-cut acts of terrorism labeled as "workplace violence." Look at the following examples:
Fort Hood Shooting: Maj. Nidal Hasan communicates via email with radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki for more than a year of planning before launching his attack in November 2009, which left 13 dead and 32 wounded. In his trial, Hasan states that he is a Muslim warrior who carried out a jihad attack on infidels. Yet, the Obama regime calls the attack "workplace violence."
Little Rock Recruiting Office Shooting: Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad traveled from Arkansas to Yemen in 2007. He met with Al Qaeda operatives there and then ran amok across three states when he came back to the US. He threw a firebomb at a rabbi's house in Nashville and tried to attack an Army recruiting station in Kentucky before traveling back to Little Rock, where he killed one soldier and wounded another. In his trial, Muhammad stated that he was a Muslim warrior who had carried out a jihad attack against infidels. Prosecutors immediately dropped all 15 terrorism charges against Muhammad and charged him with capital murder.
California Power Station Attack: In April 2013, terrorists knocked out a power substation near San Jose using AK-47 rifles. Obama's federal officers labeled the attack as "vandalism." Now, after retirement, one of the officials has come out and publicly stated the federal government knew from the beginning that the attack on the power station was clearly a terror attack.
This is no accident. Obama is intentionally downplaying these incidents and labeling them as anything but terrorism.
Obama does not want to classify these Islamic terror attacks as terror attacks because he takes his marching orders from his profound belief in, and support of, the righteousness of worldwide jihadism.
Americans must call these attacks what they are: Muslim terrorism against Americans.
By passing S. 1500, Americans are sending a message that we will not stand for Obama's radoud implementation of Sharia, not in our military and not in civilian America.
