Cody Warriors Lacrosse team played with 'heart and grit'

(Cody, Wyo.) - Yesterday the Cody Warriors Lacrosse Club defined what it means to be a Warrior. Vice President, Mike Power shared how yesterday's tournament in Cody turned out:
Game 1, Cody vs. Billings: Cody lost 12-5
Game 2, Cody vs. Bozeman: Against one of the most revered programs in the Montana Lacrosse Association and who had beat the same Billings team 6-5 earlier in the day. Cody Warriors were down 8-4 at half. In the second half, Cody replied with 6 unanswered points, fought through a second tie at 10-10, and sealed the game 12-10 for their first victory!
Coach Vaughn said, "Warriors family and friends, today we witnessed the low of lows and now the high of highs. I have never been more proud of a bunch of kids. We just proved to everyone that heart and determination wins. You kids played a phenomenal game. I am looking forward to everything that is in store for you kids. Guess what, it clicked. You all get it now. Great job and thank each one of you!"
Power added, "The kids played with such heart and grit that defines what it means to be a Warrior! We're SO proud of these kids for never giving up and playing with the spirit of the game!"
