Despite the fact that eight months have passed since Ms. de Pablo’s departure was announced, fan outcry for her return hasn't slowed down, but only gained momentum. A recent press release by Ms. Atala Martin from TheRanking.com shows an overwhelming 60,000 people voted in favor of Ms. de Pablo’s return to the hit series.
Operation Bring Back Cote’s current project, #Count2aMillion, has motivated fans all over the world not only to express their unhappiness through clicking buttons and voting in polls, but to actually shower the network in physical evidence of their dissatisfaction: so far over 50,000 f(w)ish (not alive of course) have been sent to CBS President Mr. Leslie Moonves, and other key CBS executives, as a symbol of support for this character and actress showing how passionate these fans are.

In addition to thousands of comments on the official NCIS Facebook page requesting Ziva’s return and vast amounts of Twitter traffic from regular fans, high profile individuals like country singer Martina McBride (@martinamcbride), sports legend Shawn Michaels (@ShawnMichaels), Super Bowl winning Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin (@DougBaldwinJr), and best selling author of the Jason Bourne series novels Eric Van Lustbader (@EVanLustbader) have tweeted their disappointment over the loss of Ziva. On February 25, 2014, Jesse Stern (@JesseStern) former NCIS writer and author of the series' landmark episode Truth or Consequences even tweeted, “Yeah, this is a different show than the one I knew.”
