CALHOUN, Ga. August 13, 2015 — Mohawk Group continues to focus on enhancing its customer experience through a solid commitment to outstanding leadership. As a result of the company’s dedication to that mission, Mohawk Group has promoted Kent Clauson to serve as senior vice president of sales. In this new role, Clauson will be responsible for the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Ohio Valley and Midwest regions of the United States.

Clauson holds over 10 years of flooring industry experience and joined the Mohawk team in 2010 as the vice president of marketing. In this role, Clauson’s overall responsibilities included leading a team to develop the go-to-market and digital strategies for the company’s retail, commercial, builder, multifamily, home center and international brands.

Clauson received his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Shepherd University and a Master’s of Science in Marketing from The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.
