A Black Owned Search Engine Donates Money For Black Owned Start-ups

April 20, 2015 is a black owned search engine with a social mission to dedicate 20% of its net profits towards minority owned business in emerging markets.

Dubbed as the search engine that gives back, has teamed up with the Kiva foundation to help raise money for black owned businesses in need of start-up or expansion funding.

The company is inviting members from all communities to join its Kiva Team page and help empower its featured business owner by donating as little as $25.00 towards their goal. 

The company put out a clarion call to action to its Facebook fans, urging them to join its BlackResults Team on the Kiva website. The call was to help consummate the fund raiser for businesses like Mark Amir's - Art & Sol Uptown Food Bar - to pay for licensing fees and purchase equipment, so that he can launch his food and art business.

"Art & Sol will offer “The S.O.N. A.R.T. (Amir and Naeemah) Experience” a cool vibes/atmosphere, informational/transformational/progressive conversation amongst a wide network with delicious vegan food and original artwork for purchase and consumption. Most of the food will be cooked for the day and not refilled once gone. There will be a few grab & go items, and a few things cooked to order." -

People interested in participating in the social mission to uplift minority owned enterprises may join join the Kiva page and make a small donation towards minority owned enterprises.

In addition to working with the Kiva foundation, also encourages all of its search engine users to shop with merchants that display the Blacklink icon within the search results.  This action also will cause a donation to be made towards minority owned businesses.
