Actor JOSH COXX Resurfaces as Special Agent Drexler on TNT’s “PERCEPTION”

LOS ANGELES (March 5, 2015) – Actor JOSH COXX (Strong Medicine, Thor, Babylon 5) will surface once again as Special Agent Drexler in the final episodes of TNT’s mystery drama, PERCEPTION.

PERCEPTION follows Dr. Daniel Pierce (Eric McCormack), a gifted and schizophrenic neuropsychiatrist, as he helps the federal government solve complex criminal cases. Audiences last saw Drexler (Coxx) at the beginning of the season in Paris, where he revealed to Daniel he was a Special Agent with the FBI. He persuades Daniel to help him in an espionage case involving the Chinese government, which turned out to be just as fake as Special Agent Drexler. His reappearance this season will have audiences wondering: who is this man impersonating an FBI Agent and why is he tailing Daniel?

Coxx is excited at the opportunity to return for the shows final episodes, explaining “It’s always exciting to come in and play someone who is dark and mysterious, even potentially dangerous. It adds some spice and edge to the story and raises the stakes for audiences watching the show. And honestly…it’s just fun being bad.”

Coxx is recognized around the world for his unforgettable performances in film and television. For six seasons, this talented and sexy actor portrayed Midwife Peter Riggs, R.N. on Lifetime’s successful medical drama series, Strong Medicine. He also gained legions of fans for his work playing Lt. David Corwin on the wildly popular sci-fi drama, Babylon 5; and for his appearance on the big screen in Paramount Pictures blockbuster hit, Thor, directed by Kenneth Branagh. Cox has emerged in countless memorable roles, including guest-starring stints on hit shows like The Mentalist, Revolution, CSI: Miami, Without A Trace, CSI among others.

A native New Yorker, Coxx has been described by TV Guide as a “6-foot-4-inch hunk with piercing blue eyes,” and touted as “man of the year on Lifetime” by People Magazine. He first made his way to Hollywood after graduating from the Actors’ Conservatory Training Program at Purchase College State University of New York, alongside fellow classmate Edie Falco.

Josh Coxx is represented by The House Of Representatives (agency).
