DermaMed Solutions Announces the Second Recipient of their Aesthetic Education Award, Elizabeth Geitz of Schaumberg, Illinois

Lenni, Pennsylvania – September 15, 2014 – Earlier this year, DermaMed Solutions, the suburban Philadelphia company that is one of the leading Microdermabrasion equipment and professional skincare companies in the United States, recently introduced a new “Aesthetic Education Award” to support future aestheticians interested in a “Whole-istic” approach to skincare.

DermaMed Solutions today announced the second recipient of the company’s Aesthetic Education Award, Elizabeth Geitz, an aesthetic student at Cosmetology and Spa Academy in Schaumburg, Illinois. Geitz received a $1,000 award towards her education.

“We received many fabulous applications and essays for our Educational Award this quarter,” said Ginger Hodulik, DermaMed Solutions Vice President of Research and Development. “We selected Elizabeth Geitz, as we believe she truly understands and agrees with our ‘Whole-istic’ philosophy towards attaining healthy skin.   Elizabeth has both a background and future aspirations which enable her to fully appreciate the nature of treating clients on the outside in and inside out. She values the human connection and knows it is the key to success.”

In her essay, Geitz wrote that “Skincare is part of this because your skin reflects everything from your nutrition, your environment, and your stress levels, in addition to the products you put directly on it, so it’s never just about looking good. My background in psychology and counseling helps me understand how all of these things are connected and how hugely important it is that we take care of ourselves. It’s not about getting luxury treatments for superficial reasons; to me it’s about self-care, and feeling good in your skin is part of that.”

DermaMed Solutions has provided thousands of spa and medical locations with quality aesthetic equipment manufactured in the United States since 1998.  Their leading product is MegaPeel®, known as the industry gold standard in microdermabrasion. They also have created a line of skin-care products and protocols, along with nutritional supplements and home care regimens, with the label dmSkincare, that provides users a multi-pronged approach to offer maximum results for healthy skin.

The Aesthetic Education Award from DermaMed Solutions is contributing up to $1,000 to accredited aesthetic programs for educational expenses for two students each year. Two awards will be given each year, worth $500 each, with a bonus of an additional $500 if the student attends one of DermaMed Solutions’ Aesthetic Partner Schools.

A partner schools’ only requirement is to promote the program by placing award information and the application link on the school website, and placing the Aesthetic Education Award Flyer in the school’s financial aid packets.
