This is a guest post from Marvin Montgomery, The Sales Doctor. Again, Marvin gives us some great tips on selling that will help us make more money. Enjoy!
When it’s time to do your follow-up, you can’t sit back and hope your prospect gets back to you. Good luck with that strategy.
In other words, “Don’t rust out wear out.” Am I being pleasantly persistent in my follow-up to get either a yes or not now or am I assuming the worse and giving up?
1.Keep calling until you make contact. That does not mean one call every couple of days.
4.Come out of voice mail and have person paged or ask receptionist the best way to reach this person.
5.Drop by the office.
6.Write a handwritten personal note.
These are just a couple of methods than can be used for follow-up. Just don’t sit back and rust out wear out.
