Two models take home the Editors’ Choice Best Ride and Best Cushioning awards

An update to the best-selling Clifton, the Clifton 2 running shoe features an improved fit and increased comfort, while the new Speedgoat is built to tackle the most technical trails.

The Speedgoat, the most recent trail shoe released from HOKA ONE ONE, is an all-conditions trail running shoe featuring aggressive lugs and a ground-rubber toecap for extra protection on tough, technical trails. According to Competitor, “It's a smooth-running shoe on mountain trails—the massive midsole provides ample soft cushioning that’s forgiving on joints without compromising control.” The Speedgoat weighs 9.7 ounces and retails for $140.
