Washington Property Co. Leases 40,000 SF of Office Space in Suburban DC

Led by Vanguard Realty’s 14,434 square foot lease renewal at 1390 Piccard Drive in Rockville, MD, Washington Property Company of Bethesda, MD leased just under 40,000 SF of space in five of its suburban Washington, DC office buildings during the first quarter of 2016. WPC’s newly inked deals, totaling 39,922 SF, are as follows:

MARYLAND – 34,801 SF

6900 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD – 2,459 SF

  • Metis Strategy leased 1,939 SF. Dave Belford of Broad Street Realty represented the tenant and Joshua Gurland of WPC represented the owner.
  • Woodfield Investments renewed its 520 SF lease. Joshua Gurland of WPC represented the owner.

8757 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD – 10,261 SF

  • Bishop & Bishop, DDS leased 2,508 SF. Chas Feitel of HPRG represented the tenant.  Tim Jaeger and Todd Bosley of Danac Realty Advisors and Joshua Gurland of WPC represented the owner.
  • Lifematters leased 7,753 SF. Gary Stein of Savills Studley represented the tenant. Tim Jaeger and Todd Bosley of Danac Realty Advisors and Joshua Gurland of WPC represented the owner.

Patriot Business Park, 7852 Walker Drive, Greenbelt, MD – 2,818 SF

  • Relative Dynamics leased 2,818 SF. Tim Jaeger and Todd Bosley of Danac Realty Advisors and Joshua Gurland of WPC represented the owner.

1390 Piccard Drive, Rockville, MD – 17,617 SF

  • Barrow Wise Consulting leased 3,183 SF. Pete Hill-Byrne of TBC Realty Group represented the tenant.  Cricket Cleary, Scott Randolph, and Guy Copperthite of Transwestern and Joshua Gurland of WPC represented the owner.
  • Vanguard Realty renewed its lease of 14,434 SF.  Joshua Gurland of WPC represented the owner.

Westwood Office Building, 8618 Westwood Center Drive, Vienna, VA – 5,121 SF
