Emergency Preparedness Partnerships Introduces Completely Redesigned Website

Hammonton, NJ – January 2014 – Emergency Preparedness Partnership (EPP), which offers A-Z emergency planning and business continuity solutions for electric, gas and water utility companies, has just launched a completely redesigned version of its flagship site, http://emergencypreparednesspartnerships.com/. The new and improved website features a streamlined navigational structure, a new look and feel, and enhanced content including an educational video and an emergency preparedness self-audit quiz designed to uncover gaps in emergency planning plans and processes.

One of the primary goals of the redesigned website was to improve the ease with which clients could navigate the site. The previous navigational structure was not intuitive, and as a result potential and current clients often had difficulty finding what they were looking for. The new and improved navigational structure eliminates this problem with interactive drop down menus, as well as the provision of clearer and more concise menu options. Simply put, site visitors can now find exactly what they want, exactly when they need it. Thanks to the new website design, EPP has received an influx of positive feedback from its clients and partners alike.

“Results from a 2012 customer satisfaction survey revealed that our clients often had difficulty navigating our website, and so one of our key objectives with the new website was to make it much more intuitive,” said EPP’s President Eileen Unger. “I feel we’ve achieved this objective, as our revamped site makes it easier for our clients and business partners to quickly and effortlessly find what they need.”

Another goal was to enhance the look and feel of the website. The old website was text-heavy, lacked aesthetic appeal, and was difficult to view on mobile devices. The new website solves these problems with a modern design that features rotating graphical banners on the homepage, and enhanced graphical elements and streamlined content presentation techniques on every page. A homepage introductory video is provided to allow potential clients to quickly get up to speed on the nature of EPP’s business. The new site was also built using a responsive design platform that makes it easy to view and navigate on tablets and mobile devices.

The content has also been expanded so that customers can easily find answers to their emergency planning questions. The new website features hundreds of high quality articles and blog posts. The site also features an emergency preparedness self audit, which offers interactive functionality that scores respondents on 39 questions in order to identify gaps in their emergency planning plans and processes. Clients can also sign up for the company’s oft-cited monthly e-newsletter to help them keep up-to-date on the evolving emergency preparedness industry.

“Whether someone is looking for a primer on Emergency Preparedness Partnerships, a quick assessment of their organization’s existing emergency preparedness efforts, or high quality articles on a variety of emergency planning topics, our new website delivers in spades,” said Unger. “Emergency planning is incredibly complex, so we wanted our new website to be as easy and as helpful as possible – and I think we achieved this goal in a fabulous way.”
