(TWINSBURG, Ohio) July 1, 2014 – From July 28 to Aug. 1, Hattie Larlham will host Camp Connect at Old Trail School. This summer camp is for children with and without developmental disabilities ages 6-12 years old. The inclusive camp provides a setting for children with and without disabilities to form friendships and develop fine and large motor muscle coordination.
Hattie Larlham camp professionals have the experience and education to work with children of all abilities. They work with parents to identify goals and provide feedback. The camp includes sensory stimulation activities, access to iPads, arts and crafts and games that promote socialization and integration.
Each day, the camp will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Old Trail School, which is located inside the Cuyahoga Valley National Park at 2315 Ira Road in Bath, Ohio.
