Boys & Girls Club Members “Dress for Success” with Help from Community Leaders

On April, 11 approximately 200 young female Club members from the Hartley & Ruth Barker Branch and Outreach Services at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale received custom made dresses and accessories from One Dress at a Time. The program, which has been supplying dresses for over 30 years, has a mission of helping young women “one dress at a time.” Volunteers hand-sew the dresses and collect donations including hairclips, purses and accessories in an effort to raise young Club members’ confidence.

Included in the group photo are members from the Barker Branch and Outreach Services and One Dress at a Time members Patsy Leavitt, Toni Pugliano, Linda Lindner and Donna Smiler.
