Pet of the Week - Carrie!

I came in to LPC in March, 2015, and for many months, you could find me hunkered down under the kitchen table, just sort of tolerating life.  Originally I was found in the middle of a snow storm when I tunneled my way through to my rescuer’s house, arriving in horrible condition.   This kind soul took me to the vet where I had to stay for some time to be nursed back to health, prior to coming to the Pet Connection.  It has taken a long time and a couple very dedicated volunteers to get me to come out of my shell.  One day, I decided I had had enough of the kitchen table and have since moved myself into the mayhem of the facility, hanging out with the other kitties mainly in the kitty room!  I enjoy pats and being brushed, but am not a huge fan of being plopped in a lap.  I am a gorgeous white kitty with deep, yellow eyes and a grey tail, which is tough to see in pictures since I am usually sitting on it.  The vet thinks I am about two years old.  I will do best in a quiet home that is happy to have a silent companion.  In return, I promise I will not constantly be under foot pestering you!
