Go Fly Fishing in the Winds!!

The snow is now officially out of the mountains and it is time to fight off the mosquitoes in search of the high mountain trout. The Wind River Range has over 1300 named lakes, and many more that are not officially named, that contain Brookies, Cutthroat, Rainbow, Brown, Grayling and the coveted Golden trout. My son and I just recently made an overnight trip to Island and Thumb lakes in the Silas drainage, south end Wind River Range.

I have just launched a Website that will contain tons of information regarding: which lakes contain what fish, what I used to catch them and how to get to them.

Thanks for checking in and go find yourself an adventure in the Wind Rivers.
