Austin Hill wins K&N East opener at New Smyrna


            NEW SMYRNA, Fla. (Feb. 16, 2015) – Austin Hill swept the card and won the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Hart to Heart Breast Cancer Foundation 150 at New Smyrna Speedway.

            Hill qualified on the pole and led every lap around the New Smyrna .48-mile oval. It was the fourth career East Series victory for Hill and his third straight, dating back to the 2014 season.   

Goodyear is the exclusive tire supplier for the K&N Pro Series East and K&N Pro Series West, as well as for the Canadian Tire Series. The three circuits share a common rulebook and compete on tires from the same line of Goodyear Eagle bias-ply tires.

            Hill averaged 65.725 mph for the 150-lap race. His pole-winning lap during time trials averaged 93.491 mph.

            Dalton Sargeant finished second after starting ninth in the 26-car field. Gray Gaulding was third, followed by Scott Heckert and Kyle Benjamin.
