Allison “Ty” Trosper Sr.

Evening traditional services for Allison “Ty” Trosper Sr. will begin at 7 pm, with a wake to follow on Friday, July 22nd at 126 North Fork Road, James Trosper’s residence in Fort Washakie. Traditional funeral services will be held at 9 am on Saturday, July 23rd at 126 North Fork Road, James Trosper’s residence in Fort Washakie. Church services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, July 23rd at Rocky Mountain Hall. Interment will be at the Sacagawea Cemetery at Fort Washakie.

Allison “Ty” Trosper Sr., Hecestokookeihi’, Little Warshield, was born June 2nd, 1966, the son of James Merton Trosper and Zedora Teton Enos and passed away on July 18, 2016.

Mr. Trosper attended diesel mechanic school in 1985, and received his Associates degree and Optical Certification at Southwestern Indian Polytechnic School in 1986. He then received his carpentry certification in 1987. He later established his own carpentry company known as “Diamond T.” He traveled throughout Montana, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming building homes. He enjoyed riding horses since his youth and was also a Pack Tour Guide for Ray Focht Ranch, won many wrestling championships, played basketball and football. He enjoyed playing hand games and going to the casinos. Ty also participated and believed in Shoshone and Arapaho traditional ways. Ty was well known throughout his life by many for his hard work, kindness, and generosity.

Allison Tyron is survived by children Cacey Sage, Allison Tyrone Jr., Kyle, Ra’el and Dustin Tropser, and his grandchildren Buddy, Dwight, Tasia Trosper, Carmya Sage, and Romeo Trosper; Stepfather who raised him Cornelius Abeyta, mother Zedora Enos and Stepfather Allen Enos; Uncle Bryan and Uncle Milton; Brothers James Trosper and his wife Theresa, George Abeyta and his wife Tracy, Jake Hill and his wife Trish, Charlie Enos; Sisters Elizabeth Trosper and Jonas Moon Sr., Cornesa and Armando Gaxiola, Andrea Abeyta, Shelly St. Clair, Rosie Trosper and Ernest Brown; companion Linda Tillman, the Thunder Family, the Sage Family, the Goggles Family, the Enos family the Friday Family, the Washakie Family, and the Teton Family. He is preceded in death by his father James Merton Trosper, brother Gregory Trosper, sister Marlys Stevens and son Stallone Trosper, aunt Harriett Trosper, uncles Burdick Teton, Larson Teton and Manuel Chavez, and grandparents Bridgette Friday Trosper, James Trosper Sr., Marie Washakie, Barbara Enos, and Charlie Teton.On-line guest book:
