Goodyear held a tire test at Fontana last October 28-29 . . . teams and drivers participating in that test were the No. 6 Roush Fenway Ford with Trevor Bayne, No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet with Kyle Larson, No. 55 Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota with Brian Vickers and No. 78 Furniture Row Racing Chevrolet with Martin Truex Jr. . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Fontana . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
