The Tivoli Gardens Incursion of 2010 was one of the bloodiest events in Jamaica's history. More than 70 people lost their lives. Now for the first time in five years, the 18° Degrees North Team marks the five year anniversary of the Tivoli Incursion by speaking with two lower ranking officers about their version of what really happened during the hunt for drug lord Christopher Dudus Coke, who was wanted in the U.S. for drugs and weapons charges. In part 1, a police officer tells the 18° Degrees North team that higher ranking officers instructed him to kill people in Tivoli. Also we'll have an interview with investigative journalist Mattathias Schwartz from The New Yorker magazine who says the U.S. was complicit in the deaths that occurred in the Tivoli incursion. Don't miss this compelling investigation.
