LOS ANGELES, CA- (June 30, 2014)- The HiteJinro Company hosted the first ever “Occupy Hite Suite” Viewing Party of the Dodgers vs. Cardinals game this past Sunday, June 29th. This ultimate viewing party was at the best seat in the house- an exclusive Dodgers Premium Suite- and was catered to the lucky winner of #OccupyHiteSuite Contest and 20 of the winner’s guests.
The #OccupyHiteSuite contest was implemented to not only create fun and exciting brand experience to those Dodgers fans but also to give back to those who have supported the brand via the brand’s social media platform. The contest winning prize included: an all inclusive Dodgers premium suite with food and fully stocked Jinro and Hite products for 20 guests. Additionally, the winner received a Dodgers Jersey and Baseball Caps autographed by the Korean MLB pitcher, Hyun Jin Ryu.
This #OccupyHiteSuite social media contest, which began in April, ended on June 12th, with the announcement of its winner as A. Romero. Only available on HiteJinro’s social media pages, fans may enter the contest by liking the ‘Hite Beer & Jinro Soju’ Facebook Page, sharing the #OccupyHiteSuite posts and tagging the friends they would like to invite to the suite. The contest attracted thousands of diehard baseball fans, and created a lot of buzz. During the two months of the contest period, the brand’s social media page received hundreds of new unique visitors and fans, an overall 250% increase in social media engagement.
On the game day, the winner and his guests were welcomed to the premium suite with his winning prizes. They enjoyed the food and had the opportunity to experience the brands in a variety of ways. Among the hits were Jinro Soju Cocktails, Asian Breeze and Gold Rush, which are also available for sale at the Dodger Stadium. Another favorite brand experience was the “Soju Train” made with Jinro Soju and Hite Beer, which is a form of domino-styled Bomb Shots. The winner, A. Romero, exclaimed, “Our family has been a Dodger’s fan for a long time and from the moment we walked in it was a great experience! Recieving all the cool gifts was a bonus to watching the game from the suite. The Soju Train was a unique experience and the Hite Cooler bags were definitely a highlight for my family. With the success of the first #OccupyHiteSuite event, HiteJinro plans to hold another contest in mid-July.
