Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Verne Weisberg Helps Women Determine Whether They Need a Breast Lift or More

Dr. Verne Weisberg, founder and owner of The Plastic Surgery Center says that most women know if they need a breast lift, but they don’t know if the lift alone will accomplish the desired look.

Portland, ME, August 29, 2014: Owner and Founder of The Plastic Surgery Center, Dr. Verne Weisberg posted a new blog on his website entitled, “How Do I Know If I Need a Breast Lift?” Even though this is one of the most commonly asked questions, Dr. Weisberg says it is not the real essence of the question women are looking to have answered.

Dr. Weisberg states that, “Women know the simple answer. If the nipple is pointing downward and is below the inframammary fold, the skin fold beneath the breast, a breast lift is needed. This indicates that there is a deeper essence to the question. In most cases the real question turns out to be, “Will a breast lift alone give me the look I want?”

According to Dr. Weisberg, “A consultation with a reputable surgeon will provide the answer.  However, it is important to be certain that the surgeon with whom you are consulting is giving you the advice that is going to satisfy you. You are the only one who knows the look you want to achieve. So be very selective and only consult with surgeons whose work you admire or whose reputations are stellar. You do not want to have to have corrective surgery because you are unhappy with the results.”
