Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – April 21, 2015 – Philadelphia-based Mariner Insurance Group has formed a new agreement with Bruce V. Schneider Associates (BVSA) All Marine Insurance Agency of Middle Island, New York, dedicated to meeting the insurance needs of the rowing and dragon boat community throughout the United States.
John Hogan and Jeb Rumbough, previously of Mariner, will now lead the Philadelphia marketing arm of BVSA. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“Our new relationship will have a very positive effect on meeting the insurance needs of the rowing and dragon boat community,” said Craig Schneider of BVSA All Marine Insurance Agency. “We will now have an expanded product and underwriting base with over 16 carriers, as well as a strong administrative staff to support our clients’ needs in a more efficient, and much quicker, manner.”
Mariner Insurance Group, in association with the North American Rowing Association (NOARA) has been providing insurance programs for the sports of rowing and dragon boating for over a decade. Hogan is a past Commodore of The Schuylkill Navy, and has been active in the rowing community in Philadelphia and the region for many years.
