Introducing Girl Almighty! A New Self-Esteem, Health/ Hygiene & Conduct App for Girls

(Prince George's County, Maryland)- Just in time for back to school! A new mobile App aimed at helping girls develop a healthy self-esteem & embrace a moral code of conduct, is now available on Google Play and the Apple Store. Girl Almighty (GA), developed by Maryland Psychologist Dr. Tena Malone, is a social, emotional, and character development club for girls 10 -17 years of age. "The Girl Almighty App is a key element of an empowerment program designed to improve the lives of girls worldwide," said Malone.

Girl Almighty focuses on building and sustaining a healthy self-esteem, developing identity and resilience, and teaching communication/assertiveness skills so girls can grow and protect themselves. "Our goal is to enhance a girl’s understanding of self; promote an attitude of love and service to others; and teach girls to behave in manners that support and promote femininity and self-worth well into early adulthood, said Malone."

In addition to self-esteem, the App covers topics such as Health & Hygiene, Conduct, Body Image and Bullying. It uses games and questionnaires to keep young girls engaged throughout the App as it works towards building a healthy self-esteem.

Girl Almighty also shows girls how to incorporate Meditation in their daily lives. Girls residing in the Maryland, DC., area are invited to join a special Girl Almighty Club, a weekly group. Dr. Malone says plans are underway to expand the group nationally.

Available on Google Play and the Apple Store, the dynamic Girl Almighty App highlights diverse images of girls. Users can purchase the App. It is rated E for Everyone. For more information about the App or the Girl Almighty Club visit
