Florida Grand Opera Presents an Afternoon of Opera at Books and Books

MIAMI – April 3, 2014 - Enjoy an afternoon of opera presented by Florida Grand Opera with opera aficionado, Justin Moss and the FGO Young Artists.  Justin will be sure to delight as he provides insight into the arias, operas, and composers from the selected repertoire that will be sung by the very talented Young Artists. 
This lecture and performance is part of FGO’s ongoing effort to enhance the opera experience within the local community.  In this session, you will be enlightened and entertained by both the lecture and the performance featuring arias from famous composers such as Donizetti, Puccini, Bizet, Tchaikovsky and others.  What a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Founded in 1941 as Greater Miami Opera and later merging with The Opera Guild Inc. in 1994, FGO presents a mixture of standard repertoire and contemporary works as well as commissions new productions – all featuring projected translations in English and Spanish.
